fighting fatigue

I have read many discussions about fatigue throughout the forum.

But, I have to share my feelings somewhere, and I feel this is a good place to do that.

I am in the middle of my 11 hrs away from home, working and driving combined.

I am exhausted, my muscles hurt, my joints hurt, my eyes hurt (they are blurry, I cant focus)...

Please tell me this is normal...I feel like I could fall asleep sitting in my chair right now...I just want to close my eyes.

Im gonna walk around a little bit, I cant leave my desk for too long or my boss will be mad...I just hope it helps...

I make a list of what I need to do at work first thing.

I change tasks as often as I can. I find the slight directional change helps me focus.

avoid sugar and caffeine. They will ultimately make you feel worse as the length of the day progresses.

Take a little fan and a shawl/blanket to work with you. Temperature changes can cause more pain.

If you need to carry a lot, a rolling suitcase or a small cart can really help.

Move as much as you can.

While driving, keep your attention on the road. Don't let your phone or your radio/music distract you.

Pain meds with lunch can help get through those final hours.

This is something I really struggle with also...I too have a desk job and can't move around as much as id like...The thing that has started to help me a bit, is D-Ribose...Its an energy building powder, great for fighting fatigue...If you have a look on Amazon, you can find some that come highly recommended!
