I don't know what else to do!! Im so overwhelmed. I have had pains n aches in my head before but this time was different and I don't know how to explain it. It ususally on left side of head from base of neck all the way up this past week I hurt so bad and it was all over. Today it is on left and some on right gets clear up by my temples. I get tingling and some times it burns. ive had this feeling other places to. I had a brain mri done about 5 months ago it did show anything but an infection on mastoid bone. Im worried and I have horrible anxiety and just my mind wonders. it is better than it was thanksgiving night and Friday. it even hurts by my eyes some time it was a migrane. but this pain isn't. A hot shower helped the other day for my head. does anyone else have this. at the early stages I had the burning of the skin but not as much now. so many issues with this an feel alone. I wonder if the infection has come back?
With fibro pain all over the body at random times.
Have you been told it's fibro?

have issues all over body ribs wrist arms elbows hips legs ive been told by several different dr it fibro having some test done by a nueorologist soon but the infections I never new I have even had. I don't think it would cause burning an tingle and ache and pains. not sure tho. my neck has been hurting along with my shoulder blades. it all comes and goes.

Fibro might be the cause then.
You might want to get checked though to see if the infection has come back again too.
Fibro is such an aggrevating condition. You never know if it's something more because you're alway hurting. So you have to look for other symptoms beyond the pain.

browneyes1 - it is *very* important that you find out *asap* if you have a mastoid bone infection. It must be treated quickly or it can spread. It can be hard to treat so if you've had one before you have to find out if it has come back. Such an infection can cause many of the symptoms you describe.

they told me last it would clear up it self but I have an app on the 4th I will tell them asap thank u

Sorry - didn't mean to panic you :) It's just something that she be taken care of. If they told you it would clear up on it's own then perhaps it wasn't really much of an infection. As we all know sometimes doctors aren't very good at explaining things to their patients.

just got off phone with them and they said they will evaluate me on the fourth do u know any other fibro people that has had tingling of the head and burning sometimes

What medications are you on, including natural remedies? Have you researched possible side effects from these? I get the tingling a lot in different parts of my body including my scalp. It comes and goes. No real burning however.

Sometimes feels warm but that's all. I was also thinking perhaps some of the issues may be related to the migraine headaches. There is a list of symptoms here.

Also - you never mentioned - have you been diagnosed as having any conditions other than fibro?
