odd new pain

Hi Wackers34. I also get pelvic pain & it is sometimes one sided twinges. But mostly it is a feeling like cramps, like menstrual cramps. My hips, back & thighs also hurt at the moment. What do you mean by scraping?

I get it every month, if they're the same ones. It's a post-ovulation cramp. They're called "Mittelschmerz". My experiences is that it feels like my ovary is really angry and it punching its way out over and over again. Or some weird god is squeezing my ovary through a voodoo doll. It usually subsides after 4 days or so. Very intermittent, and usually makes me double over. \-: I do want to add, though, that they usually come in a flutter. As in, they'll start and stop within 20 minutes and then go away for a few hours and then start again.

Does this sound at all familiar? Did you recently stop birth control?

Interesting that you haven't stopped birth control. I would check to make sure that they are the same cramps. I don't think you get them if you don't actually ovulate (via BCP) but I could be mistaken.
