So how many forums do you qualify for?

I was just looking at the different forums available on HealingWell, and I realized that I could legitimately post in 8 of them. And, I have additional conditions that we don't have forums for. I'm not sure how that makes me feel. Just one of those things that make you go hmmmm......

I'm also not sure why I chose fibro as the forum I visit most often. I think I found HW while searching for fibro support, and I stayed because the people here were/are so friendly and helpful. I'm sure they are in the other forums too, but I got hooked on fibro first. :-)

So, just out of curiosity, what are your forum stats (generalities - not specifics; I don't want to be too nosy), and why did you choose the fibro forum?

Interesting question. I would qualify for 5, possibly 6. Fibro is the thing that's with me every minute of every day, so that's what I went looking for, too.

And the fit was just right! :) So glad it was....

Twelve.....but I mainly visit two of them.
I chose this one because the fibro talks the loudest in my body and people are the nicest here.

I just tallied how many I could post in because I have the condition... the total was 10. Like you, I also have additional conditions that HW does not have forums for.

I was a lurker for almost a year before I joined the fibro forum. Four plus years later, I'm still hanging around. You are all like family. So glad I found this place. yeah

Austen, I just looked back to count them . I would qualify for 11 and probably a few more that are not on there. Seems every time I go to the Dr. I get a new diagnoses listed on my paper work. My new one is high cholesterol.

I don't have Fibro, but qualify for 6 and like most all of them have lead to chronic pain. That's how I ended up there ss many of Fibro and lupus folks cross the CP forum.

Im not looking anymore, might jinx myself with my luck!! Lol

I qualify for eight and also have other problems that don't have a forum. We keep adding forums to HealingWell but it's expensive. Maybe down the road you will see more forums added.

Seven for me, with fibro as a possible eighth. It's gotten to the point that I'm reluctant to discuss any new complaints with my doctors for fear of getting another diagnosis.

Isn't that the truth, Judy? Most times I go he finds something new, and if I ever have diagnostic testing something totally unrelated to my original complaint that needs "further investigation" always shows up. rolleyes

I have to say that although it saddens me for everyone, I'm actually not surprised that so many of us have multiple issues. It's like dominoes; you hit that first one, and they all come tumbling down.

Interesting little window into everyone's lives. Thanks for sharing! :-)

4 definites, but if we count Lyme, which im investigating then I fit in that one also - which makes 5! Fibro is the one I have found I enjoy the most. The inspirational stories on here have helped me so much
Its a great question and I was thinking maybe I was on my own fitting into so many...I think for me I wold love to see insomnia on there, but this does cross over many conditions anyway :o)

i would love to know which ones everybody fits into - Im very impressed that so many of you have more than 5 and more illnesses and can still get on with your normal lives

Ok, Fibro, IBS, Chronic Pain, Thyroid Disorders, Migraines....and I sometimes wonder about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I think of all of us as Wounded Warriors! yeah smhair yeah

Cp,migraines, kidney disease, depression, heart disease, RA,

Probably could add Anxiety, of course since long-term chronic illnesses and chronic pain can certain contribute to it.
