What are everyones plans for xmas?

And what is your best advice to get through the holiday period?

Im panning on resting loads - we do have quite a few social events, in which I hope to sit and relax and not have to worry about rushing around cooking etc

Christmas morn will be at home with the kids in the morning and then over to mum in laws to have more xmas shannanigans and dinner...maybe games and a quiz if we are all feeling up to it

Then its various family visits on the days after - New Year Eve we never do anything but watch countdown on tv (Big Ben), I just aim to try and stay up past 10pm! lol

I have Christmas Eve so my MIL, FIL and SIL and her family plus my mom and sister. Christmas Day we go to my in laws around 10:30 and then my moms for 1:00. Both my sisters will be at my moms ( and nieces and nephews) so I am really looking forward to it!! The day after friends are coming into town for a week.
I have been pacing myself. I did tons on Saturday and a little Sunday and today. I am 99% done!! Tomorrow should be a quiet day until company comes at 5:30.
Doing a little at a time and getting enough sleep has been key. I was so afraid I would flare with all that needed to be done. So far so good :)
I hope everyone has a flare free holiday!!

Christmas eve we spend at our DS and family get together with my DM for great feast and exchange of presents. We stay there over night to open presents there on Christmas morning.
For lunch we are going to a large family and extended family Christmas an hours drive away at the beach a wonderful cold feast and to top it all off they have a swimming pool.
Don't you just love Christmas in Australia Summer so all the great fruits

The best way to get through your holidays is to enjoy yourself and not be thinking about your health. I never worry about "what if's". I just go and enjoy the parties and luncheons like I always have. Your attitude plays a very important part in how you feel.

I start out tomorrow with gift opening with my daughter, two kitties, and one puppy. There are a lot of gifts under the tree for all of us. Then I have a couple of things to take to my cousin's for Christmas dinner.

My cousin has the whole family and friends so there will be about 20 people there. She always has a gift exchange...a crazy one! We are to bring a $10 gift. It can be nice and it can be crazy. The gifts are all put in a pile and then she has us draw a number out of the hat. Whoever get number one goes and picks out a gift, unwraps it, and shows it to everyone. Whoever has number two can either pick out a gift or take number one's gift! If number one has their gift taken, they can pick out another gift and show it. It goes on like this and it's so funny seeing gifts "stolen". It is a lot of laughs for everyone. This year, my cousin has bought a booby prize gift to give to the person who ends up with the worst gift! You know what that means....we will all try to get the worst gift. It is a good time for all.

No matter what any of you do, have a merry Christmas or happy holidays. We can fall back on these fun memories when we are having a down day.

We don't really have any plans except to stay home, relax and enjoy the day. We do have a friend coming over for Christmas dinner.

Hubby and I will be spending quiet day together as we did our Xmas 2 weeks ago. Oldest daughter is in New Zeland with BF and his family so we did our big family get together/gift exchange before she left. Merry Xmas to all and hoping for pain free day for all.
