Hi there! :) I seem to be getting worse in a few areas, and wondered if these are things you guys notice too?
1. Tremors. My whole body feels like it is vibrating, all the time, constantly. I tremor always (thought I had jittery vision but it turns out it's just me... heh). If I bend my fingers, they shake and vibrate. I feel constantly like I'm buzzing. Bzzzzzzz. It's almost like having a zillion cups of caffeine (which I don't drink). When I hold my hands out, there is a subtle shaking... not representative of what I feel.
It's annoying - is that a fibro thing? I don't really hear much about that in others.
2. My lip just started spasming a week ago. It's my lower lip, for a week solid now (still doing it), continual twitching. You can actually see the muscle jumping around. Bump. Bump. bumpbumpbump. Bump. Bumpbump. It's driving me nuts... it never doesn't do it.
My eyelids do it, too, when I close them - just gently, not even squeezing. If I squeeze them shut, or if I try to hold a smile, my cheeks and lips will shake and tremor.
But the spontaneous lip twitch is bugging me. Seems that can either be something "real" or something meaningless. ;)
3. If I have to use a muscle for anything... like opening a new jug of juice (this took me a long time the other day), the act of squeezing it and trying to twist it off will leave my arms aching and feeling fatigued for hours. The pain and aching will travel up my shoulders and then into my sternum. All from opening a jug of juice... ya know?
Another example - yesterday, I was showing my boys how to salute. (I used to be in the military). Just the act of snapping my arm to attention caused aching and pain for hours.
Is that fibro? Man it is annoying. Any time I have to flex for a sustained period... as in, something other than just using a muscle to shut a car door or something, there is pain. Is that normal for fibro?
Just trying to put a feeler out there and see if this IS indeed part of fibro. We are still on the diagnosis journey...
