Hey, I have vision problems - 3 kinds that are wrong with my eyes themselves, 1 kind that is caused by fibromyalgia muscle spasms that weakens my eyes, and 1 kind that is probably caused by Lyme disease, which I've just sent off my blood to be tested for. I tend to get blurred vision and spots sometimes, and the optometrist said that he can't find a fifth problem wrong with eyes - only the muscle spasm one and 3 common eye problems.
Also, I get the pain in my upper neck and back of my head like you described - but I get it on the left side too. This is one of the other reasons I'm being tested for Lyme.
Have you ever seen a Lyme Literate doctor? It might be worth making an appointment with one if you haven't. I had to wait 9 months to get in to see my LLMD, but it was well worth the wait. Of course, I saw other doctors and allied health professionals in the meantime. I'm not meaning to say that all cases of FMS are Lyme, it's just important to check for it as Lyme is often mistaken for FMS.
I suggest you see an occupational therapist. They can provide holistic care - pain relief, physical, psychological, social, self-management skills, employment and ensuring an appropriate work environment and conditions for you, activities of daily living, money management, and more. Basically, they help you to get on with and enjoy your life despite the fact you're still sick. They can also help to treat any other conditions that you may have as a result of having a chronic illness, such as depression or anxiety. Occupational Therapy has helped me a lot, and I am studying Occupational Therapy at university because I love it so much. You don't need a definitive diagnosis to get help from an OT.
