Does anyone get tonsil stones?

I keep getting tonsil stones every couple of months. Could this be Fibro related? I never got them until all the other Fibro symptoms started.

I've never been told I had or heard of cryptic tonsils. I guess that's something else for me to research. When I was a teenager I suffered with continuous bouts of tonsillitis but that was 40 years ago. Maybe it's just a coincidence that I never got them until all the Fibro symptoms started. It just seems like everything keeps stacking up and it's one thing after another.

I am not sure about the stones, but I had my tonsils out a couple of years ago,(and I am retired!) it was the best thing I ever did.
I have had fibro since my teens, and also constant sore throats.Finally an ENT asked WHY I had never had them removed. I said no one had ever mentioned it - just that they were very large. He said they definitely had to go, that I couldn't keep going on antibiotics. He sent me to another ENT who does the procedure. It hurt a lot, but I have had almost no sore throats since then. It turned out that I did have
colonies (?)of bacteria in them.
I am sure that having fibro and the infected tonsils really made me more susceptible to illnesses.

I have never heard of the terminology of tonsil stones or cryptic tonsils. I had tonsillitis once in my pre teens. I was very sick and lost weight. My Mom had a Doctor come to our House. We never had Health Insurance at the time.

I have had things land on my tonsils. I have managed to get them out. A Doctor said they are toxins. They have a bad smell and taste. My throat is super sensitive. Many things can make me cough. Just a speck of pepper can case coughing.
