When I signed up in 2009, I was at a very low point. I was finishing up a job in NW Pennsylvania. The town was very small, there was a lot of snow, I was cold all the time, I was trying to snag a new job, my cat was dying, and I felt very much by myself. I didn't have a support system. In fact, no one there knew of my medical issues.

Hence, Myself09.

Mine was easy. I've always loved dogs and have had them all of my adult life. Couldn't have them as a child because my younger sister was allergic. I have a golden retriever now, my third. She keeps me moving even when I might not feel like it. We walk every morning.

I got all of my dogs as young puppies.

Melissa means honeybee, from the Greek, although I'm an English-Irish-Scottish-French mix. A greek name is pretty exotic!

Through gardening I've come to love lemon balm whose official name is Melissa Officianalis. A great herb for many things and good for the bees. I figure the bees need any help they can get...which is often times the way I feel about myself. ;)

Every name I tried was taken! Without getting too melodramatic, I decided that a heart was simple and nice. <3

My name comes from my love of rain. I love to see the rain and to know it's nurturing the land...all the trees and flowers and to know it's filling our lakes and rivers.

I love to walk in the rain...even if it's a cold rain it feels so nice falling on my face and shoulders. Rain is truly a gift for our planet and for us to enjoy.

So I am loverain!

What a beautiful description of something we all take for granted where I live. We receive over 100" of rain a year. It does cause thought for reflection. So many live in drought areas.

Spring rain is so peaceful. I can relate so well to UR words.

With 3 teens that's wonderful and lovingly exhausting. 1 boy & 2 girls. How lucky they are so much luv & happiness!
We have 5 boys all teens. Keeps us all busy!

We have a doggie expecting soon. Is that a good name for a pup with UR permission? Just kidding!

Mine was pretty simple. Figured I say it over here and you here it over there so it's my echo. I am different so I spelled echo different. ; )

HEART: My mom had blue willow collection too, as my sis has the whole collection.Yes heart I too thought <3 meant less than three ...math minds think alike... Not that great at math...signs I remember...I just was't willing to go there, I kept telling myself no.. No one means that or like WHAT.? Very glad we got that straightened out for sure.

HoneyBEE MelissaBee: all those arches there are 5 hops vines total and they bite,stickers on the stems leaves every where except the hops. Cutting thru a jungle getting the hops off in fall ya need a chain-mail suit. YIKES...Holly skin rash &welts.xxxxxxxxxoooooxxxx

Chotti, thanks for the kind post. I don't really have the same dreams now that I used to have; I'm older and now on disability. People on the candle forums work their own jobs and then go home and make candles until 1 or 2 a.m. and do shows on the weekends; there's no way I can do that now. They also spend years perfecting their scents and $$$, which I don't have. I love your horse, btw.

Heart, putting your name on the bottom will help those of us with severe fibrofog remember your name. :)
