Memory foam mattress

Well I finally listen to my husband and decided it was time to get a new mattress. Mine is ten years old and I sink into it. So we went shopping for a new one. I never knew there were so many kinds to pick from. I had an idea what I wanted because I slept on a Sealy memory foam. My body loved it and my pain was less. So I finally bought a serta I comfort. I think my husband got sticker shocked, but he bought it for me. I got it on sale, but it still was $1900. I hope it sleeps well. My husband said if it doesn't just don't tell him. Just act like I love it. Lol I just know its going to be great to sleep on. It has a 25 year warranty. I just read an article that they did a study on memory foam beds for fibro patients. They responded well to the bed. I believe the article is memoryfoam.com

I tried a i-comfort but it felt too hard for me. I've got a pillow top with a memory foam topper.

I have an i comfort. The first week or so is pure hell. It is so stiff. Do yourself a favor and invest in a memory foam pillow as well. You will thank me. As it settles down and softens up it will learn to cradle your body. Do I still have pain and night time drama? you bet. Is it better?? yes, most of the time. The 1900 sticker shock was well worth the relief that I do get.

I wish I could have purchased an adjustable frame. That would have been ideal. With the two, I would be in fibro heaven. LOL.

Yes, the memory foam is the way to go! I have a mattress with memory foam built right into the top layer…paid a LOT for it, but laid down in the store and felt the difference immediately. I added my own memory foam pad on top. I am a BELIEVER! It really helps. But I agree with everyone here, that sadly, it is not enough on some nights. Even laying on all that soft adjustable foam can hurt sometimes.
