I predict a heavy fog for me.
I am having a terrible case of insomnia. I've been awake since 4pm yesterday!
I'm trying to relax and wind down but my bedroom has becomed Grand Central Station. My mother has been in my room four times in the last two hours. My brother scared me out of my skin by popping his head in the door asking me where is the thermometer he borrowed yesterday. My niece who slept in my room last night kept getting up and down to go to the bathroom and grumbling the whole time.
The only one quiet in my room is the cat and he's asleep. :-(

Awake Since 4 am yesterday.. That's not fun...
Alrighty then... I'll have to share my secret for a perfect sound proof sleep... I guarantee u will sleep thru a bomb .....silicone ear plugs.
I sleep thru a bomb every night he sleeps right next to me..

They are also great for hospital stays.. Sleep like a baby...

Most drug stores or in the eye ear isle in the grocery store...

Everything from the subject line to the post had me laughing. Believe me, I am not laughing at you. I can completely relate, as I think most of us can.
There has been a thread on here where the subject is " you know you have Fibro when..." And we all chime in with some of our foggy moments!
I hate it when I use my debit card and completely blank on my code although I have used it a million times. Then I panic because the people behind me are getting annoyed!

I was having a very foggy day when I put my coffee in the refrigerator to heat it up! Oops guess the microwave would have worked better.
Hope the sun appears soon, but on the days that it us foggy you can always come here. Guaranteed someone is having a foggy day too!!

Well...did you ever pull in for gas, go inside to pay, come out and start pumping fuel into someone else's car? Hmmmm? Luckily the man came out of the mini mart before I filled his tank.

And I might add....when I gave the cashier the money and he asked me what pump I was at so he could turn it on....I looked out the window and pointed to a van that was the same color but not the same make. I really need a Jag. Or a Royce. No mistake there....LOL!

After going 21 hours without sleep twice this week with only a seven hour passing out I was terriblely foggy yesterday at the hairdresser and drug store.
I was trying to hit the six on the keypad and kept hitting the five.
Finally the cashier said "can I do that honey?"
I relented and told her my phone number very slowly.

I went home and climbed into the bed and slept for 12hrs.

Chotti, that is so true, I sleep through everything with my earplugs, esp. the train that sleeps beside me.....LOL

Achey all over, had to laugh at everything too and cry also, it's very ??? to know that others are just like you and the aphasia is not just you. I am not the only on who heats her coffee up in the frig. LOL. I just need to be on this page more often to be able to relate and know I do fit in! Thanks to all. I will survive this, if I could just type a little faster and not have to spend 1/2 fixing typos!!! haha

New to this site so not sure if I'm supposed to list what I have, but so many TMTM, Fibro (which is just a symptom, lets think of a name for it, put all of our brains together) degenerating myelin sheath in my head anyway, aphasia, numb hands and fingertips, unable to read more than a paragraph or two, horrible writing, just horrible, brain fog, brain (what brain) IBS, can't remember where the keyboard keys are, and so many others.

These posts have made me feel so much better about myself!  I had no idea Fibro would cause this kind of mental confusion and goofiness.  This is happening to me more and more but I thought it was age. 

I went into the kitchen to get a cup of milk. I started to open the milk jug and noticed the container I had gotten down out of the cupboard....a cereal bowl!
I started laughing so hard at myself my mother was wondering what was so funny. When I told her what was going on she got a good laugh too.

I was driving on the freeway following a large tractor trailer. I had been following him for hours and figured he was driving to the same town I was going to. I knew my turn was coming soon but he was so big I couldn't see ahead of me. Suddenly he started turning off and I followed him....right into a weight station! My niece and her friend who was in the back seat started screaming at me to get back on the freeway. I just traveled on through the parking lot and out the other side like nothing had ever happened. I kept checking the review mirror for cops though who would be chasing the crazy woman who tried to weight her little pontiac. LOL!

I just have to laugh at those silly moments.
