I got to thinking a moment ago, the rheumy asked about mouth sores, and I never thought about this because it's been awhile, but should I tell him about these sores I get on my tongue from time to time? I never thought anything of it but they are small white bumps I get on my tongue, just one at a time, but they hurt like crazy. Sorry if this is one of those duh questions.

I don't have the mouth sores but I have learnt that leaving any little thing out can lead misdiagnosis. A lot of things I thought were just fibro apparently aren't and I am being watched for ms. Your mouth sores may be a symptom of something else that your doctor maybe looking at. They don't tell you very much, just ask you questions and not tell you the relevance.....

Hi,
Never been one to get them unless I bite inside my mouth with my teeth. about three weeks ago, I had about three on sides and top of mouth. Hurt and made eating harder. Can't figure how either.

I just get them randomly but they hurt like crazy.

I get mouth sores quite a bit. They come from my lupus and I've been told to rinse with salt water.

I get them fairly often from having problems with dry mouth. I posted about this a few days ago, but I use an OTC product called Zilactin-B. It forms a film over the sore, protecting it (and helping with the pain) as it heals.

IBD can feature mouth sores. It can also cause body and joint pains. Colonoscopy can diagnose it.

It's completely possibly, I have a lot of issues with constipation and getting sick hours after I eat like it won't digest or gets stuck or something.

I also get them. I find taking Lysine helps a lot. I just take it when I need to.
