smilewinkgrin Ok..........Here is a good one. Went to Kohl's and picked up a pair of shorts and a really cool looking v neck short sleeved shirt that is gray. The next day (This past Friday) I hop in my car, leave from Ohio and drive 11hrs To Myrtle Beach S.C. So......I get to my hotel and start unpacking and There is my Gray Shirt I bought. Sounds normal so far right? Ok, So, I fold the shirt and put it in the dresser. I continue to unpack and what do I see? My gray shirt again!!!! I'm thinking to myself what? I just put this in the drawer. Is this like some kind of magical shirt? So I go to the drawer and pull out the gray shirt. YUP apparently I liked the shirt so much I had bought it earlier this year!!!!!! Fog anyone?

Wow, Michael, that's funny! I can totally see myself doing that. (It's so hard to find clothes l can wear to begin with.)

What's even funnier is that you packed them both and didn't notice!

It's good that we can laugh at ourselves....if we couldn't, we'd really be in trouble.

I hope you remembered your new shorts, too ;)

Believe me when we find things we really like, we should get copies of it....i used to go back and forth between sizes, so i would buy things in both sizes...if i buy something and love it..i buy it in other colors...

First I wish I was on the beach with you. My favorite place to be! Your story is too funny. I don't think I have ever done that one. I know I have a list of other crazy things I have done. Have fun at the beach!

That's funny! I loved the thought of a magical shirt. LOL. I haven't done this with clothing but I have done this with books, food and pantry items...many times. Right now I'm working on my four bottles of barbecue sauce and I'm still whittling down the 280 rolls of toilet paper I discovered I had. You just have to have a good sense of humor to survive fibro.

It's about a 3-4 hour drive for me. It is beautiful beach. Everyone in this area goes there during the summer. I like Tybee Island too. It's called a "dirty" beach because the sand is very dark gray.

Too funny, Michael.   I think almost everyone here can relate!  Well, at least you now have two shirts that you REALLY like. tongue

A couple of days ago, I was going to make tea.  I carried my cup over to the microwave and noticed that I had forgotten to put in a tea bag. rolleyes

Anyone want to join me in a lovely cup of hot water tea? 

 Hey--that reminds me.  Does anyone remember the "Green Acres" show?  Lisa Douglas made something called "hot water soup." smilewinkgrin

Debbie: Yep, it was a ROTF laughing kind of silly show. It was especially funny when Lisa would do something goofy like make the hot water soup, and somehow everyone in Hooterville (except Oliver, her husband) would be familiar with it and think it was normal!

Hmm....people like that sound like me on a 'foggy' day. Maybe they should have named the town "Fibroville." :)

I think Sherrine is my fibro fog doppelganger. Food items and books are my usual suspects. I recently bought several bananas only to get home and find a large bunch already on the counter. We had banana bread this week. tongue I'm also reading a book that has a very familiar plot. It sounded really good online - probably because I've Read It Before!! rolleyes

LOL Austen! I've reread books too. I now have running lists of the books of my favorite authors. When I finish reading a book I check it off the list. I've also given books as gifts...books I have bought for myself but got home and discoveredI had a copy or two already.

I bought a pair of summer shoes and when i went to get my summer stuff I discovered I bought TWO pairs of the same shoe last year. yeah fun.

I don't mind at all. That's why Im here to share. I take 100 mg tramadol twice daily. if I'm having a beyond rough day I will take a 3rd dose of tramadol. If it wasn't for this med helping take the edge off I'm not sure how I could handle the pain. It's crushing at times. (Talking pain so bad I cry) .I hate crying so i know it's bad when i am in tears. At night I take 25mg of nortriptoline for sleep. Along with a generic Walmart sleep pill.

Klonopin I use for free floating anxiety that I get. This I take maybe 1pill per week. I take magnesium malate to help with pain. I take 3 of these in morning and 3 before bed. I also take vit.D3. My Dr recently put me on a beta blocker to slow my heart rate down. for some reason it beats 123 BPM at rest. Crazy.But that's my med regiment fifthelement.

I also move A LOT. I'm a store manager for at&t. I have to keep going... I have no choice. When I'm not in crazy stupid amounts of pain I try to lift weights. Nothing crazy heavy. I am 45 yrs. Old and well.....I wish I felt as good as I look. I don't mean that to sound arrogant but when people see me they see fit muscular guy and they can't believe I have the pain I say I do. But I'm sure we all get judged that way.

Michael ... Any antidepressants? My rheumatologist keeps suggesting I take Cymbalta... Like it's the greatest thing... I don't downplay it because it was helpful to me in the past ... But if I still have the pain why take it, know what i mean?

I take paxil and it's well known for easing pain of fibro.

No I am not on any antidepressants. I did try cymbalta when it first came on the scene. It made me vomit each dose and I said no thank you. If a med is not giving significant improvement then no I won't take it. I like most can't afford to just throw money away, so yes I know what you mean Fifth. Only you though can decide if the reduction of pain is worth the cost. I like to refer to this condition as millionaires disease. Totally appropriate.

Joy.... I did not know that paxil helped with fibro pain. Now I'm intrigued because I took it years ago for anxiety disorder way before fibro kicked in and had no side effects. Hmmmm..... thanks for that tid bit of info joy!

The great thing about paxil you can get the generic version for $4 at Wally World..
