Underarm and Breast Pain

Over the past month I have developed a new pain in my underarms and the sides of my breasts closest to my arm. I do have muscle pain in the rest of my body and am waiting to find of if I have fibro, but this is new. I am seeing a rheumatologist at the end of this month but want to get some advice from you guys in the mean time. The pain gets worse when I press on it lightly. It's a deep ache, stabbing pain. I have tried different bras and just not wearing a bra and the pain is the same no matter what.

Does anyone else have pain in this area?

Should I see my general doctor about this while I wait to see a Rheumatologist?

I don't think it would be cancer or anything, I'm just worried since it's new and it hurts so bad.

I have the same pain on my left side. I brought it up to my rheumatologist a couple weeks ago and she felt to make sure I didn't have any swollen lymph nodes she said everything was ok and it was just part of Fibro.

I'm sorry you have this. Somedays it feels like it is on fire because it's like a burning pain. Ibuprofen seems to help me. I hope you can get answers at your appointment.
