Do you find it true that FM pain is always on both sides? If I have upper arm pain, it is always on both sides. If I have neck pain, it is on both sides, etc.

Nope not at all, except for my legs. They both hurt all the time. But I've had arm pain on one side and not the other before.

Not always at the same time...i have a lot of right rib pain, but almost never on the left. Our pain can move around , change sides, change locations..
Thats just my experience, it can vary so much person to person.

My fibro moves around on me.
Now my RA will run bilateral on me.

I've had flairs hit both ways. Currently its all focused on just one leg, but my previous flair was more like the flu hitting everywhere. Overall, my left side usually is worse than my right side.
