Burning hands and feet. Random migrating burning other places - Are these Fibro symptoms?

Hello, this is my first post on this forum, stopped over from the Lyme forums.

Last June my hands started burning, like a strange nerve burn. A month before this I found a few ticks on me from being in a cottage in northern Michigan, but tested negatively for Lyme. Just started doing more Lyme testing, only tested positive on one, 41 IgG, which my doctor tells me that I do NOT have lyme.

Anyway, my symptoms are burning hands and feet. Feet burn 24/7 now. Hands come and go, but seems to be getting worse. Also have random burning/very warm feeling that seems to show up randomly. Just today the back of my right arm has a slight burning feeling, just in one patchy area.

Never any visible signs of anything, no swelling.

I've been tested for all kinds of things, Lupus, brain MRI, spine MRi, HIV, sjogrens, MS, Diabetes, just started going through more Lyme testing. But I don't think I've ever been tested or even considered for Fibromyalgia. My original doctor may have ruled that out months ago when it was just my hands burning, and then never really revisited it.

Long post here, sorry, but my question is this hands and feet nerve burning, and random nervy feeling all over my body, sometimes here, sometimes there, is this a sign or symptom of Fibromyalgia?

My ankles and wrists burn when I'm in a flare. I also get a deep, down painful aching from my knees to my hip. It feels like it's way down in the bone. Almost like a low burn.

Feels like someone randomly puts out cigarettes on my shins. I will be fine and just jump and grab my leg. Also sometimes feels like fire ants are feasting on my feet. The joys of fibro.

I suffer from burning heat in my feet especially at night. It sometimes got to the stage that the heat was like a burning pain. Lyrica 150mg at night brought the heat down to a manageable level for about 2 years.

Then my dose was increased to 300mg at night to help control other Fibro symptoms and my feet are actually cold now! A novel experience for me. I had to buy socks! Good luck with it, Neenaa.

Hello, your describing the same thing that I posted not to long ago. Mine start last August when I came back from camping and that was also the same time I rescued a puppy that had tics. But I don't think I got pit by a tic. And I tested negative for Lyme and everything else so my dr says its fibro and I alway describe the same symptoms to my dr which is burning pain on my hands and other areas of my body the pain shifts and it feels like the tissues under my skin is burning I will be asking my dr to re test for Lyme ... But I do notice that gabapintin helps me a lot
