Hi, Holland, and welcome! Sometimes medication can make you very sleepy but I know you are trying to find things to help with your pain. It's a trial and error type thing with Fibro. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. There are many suggestions as to what helps on this forum so read some back post and you can see many.
I use ibuprofen with food, Tylenol, magnesium malate, vitamin D3, and a muscle relaxer called Robaxin that has made a significant difference in my pain. I only take half of what was prescribed so I wouldn't get side effects from it.
I also walk daily as a gentle form of exercise and will start swimming next week. You need to keep moving with Fibro. If you sit or lay too long, you will be stiff as a board and have more pain. If you've been sleeping all of the time, you aren't moving and this could be part of the problem.
I also pace myself when doing things. It all gets done but in a different time frame. So, all of the above helps me be in control of the pain. Rarely is anyone pain-free with this illness.
Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are link to good info about Fibro and you will learn a lot there. There are links about the magnesium and vitamin D3 and how they work in the body. Quite a few members have gotten some relief using these. I know I have.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
