Freezing cold hands

I'm just wondering if anyone all of a sudden will get freezing cold hands from fibro. I usually feel really bad when this happens and it will pass after 5 minutes or so. They get so cold that they actually hurt, doesn't matter if its a hot sunny day.

Sure. Fluctuations in temperature are fairly normal with fibro. My extremities are always cold.

Yes, as myself stated it's a common thing with us fibromites! From time to time I also get the cold hands and cold feet and they will appear purplish in color.

Always let your Dr. Know about things such as this though, and if they find no reason for it than it's safe to assume it's another joy of the fibro. (Sarcasm of course)

I am thankful when Summer arrives as my feet are finally not freezing. I have cold hands often also. We have some friends that dress so light in the Winter but not me. I am bundled up everywhere. Like Michael, my feet turn purplish when really cold. I asked my Podiatrist if there was anything that could be done for cold feet. He said no and touched my hand with his cold hands. Maybe he has Fibro too. It is a good suggestion to mention new symptoms to your Doctors.

I have Raynauds. Symptoms are cold hands and feet that turn magenta. I have had for 40 years.

I wear heavy gloves even when getting things from freezer. Air conditioning causes my symptoms all of the time.
