Does anyone have eye issues? Mine get really dry really quick and lately I have been having bad black dots...they are random and usually when I am looking at the computer or another light object? Thoughts?

Sounds like floaters. Unless they are real bad they don't do anything for them.

Dry eyes are common if you look at a computer screen a lot. Get some eye drops called "Blink". It will help a lot.

Dry eyes are very common in fibro...drops can really soothe them

Not sure about black dots...do you mean floaters ?

Dry eyes are pretty common in fibro. Mine are so bad that I have to use a lubricating ointment when I sleep.

As others have said, the black dots may be floaters.

Most floaters are completely harmless, but if you have a sudden onset of lots of floaters or any vision loss, it would be wise to see an eye doctor. Sometimes it is a sign of a retinal tear or detachment, which can be treated.

Leapyear, yes I get these in more excess now I have fibro. They are grey and on both sides. I also see cobweb shapes too. I did get eye exam and of course, as all the tests are, was negative for anything serious. That's great BC no glaucoma, etc but frustrating BC what the heck is responsible? My assumption for myself is inflammation in the eyes. If you find out for sure, plz let me know.

I have an eye appointment on Monday...I am hoping nothing is found too! I will let you know!

well all went well at the eye doctor...said eyes look good no reason for floaters...she said as we get older...i am only 35...eye vision has gotten worse but thankful that everything else was ok!

Leapyear,

This is fabulous news. Interesting, that we see more floaters as we age. I'm 38 yo so we are kind of in same age range. Makes sense.
