FIRST I AM NOT ASSOCIATED WTH THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY
In my medical training I learned biofeedback and have witnessed profound recovery by many patients in areas of diverse health problems.
I have been a meditator for 35 years know the problem is that you may think you are meditating or relaxing (not the same thing) and you are not. Unless you can reach a place of parasympathetic dominance and certain brain waves you are just sitting.
Biofeedback can allow us to know if we are relaxed through several modalities - muscle tension - peripheral temperature - skin conductance - respiration.
Clinical biofeedback is expensive, time consuming and takes lots of training. However it can teach you to relax like nothing else can.
As a medical professional companies send me products to test for free. I have tried every consumer product that purports to teach you to relax....from Heartmath to the Wild Divine. Nothing worked.
And started using it a month ago - unfortunately I often forget it and just sit and meditate. When I remember to get it out of the drawer I come out of meditation greatly more relaxed and I can feel the benefits of less pain for several hours.
I tested it our against my clinical biofeedback and neurofeedback equipment and it is pretty darn accurate.
I am going to discipline myself to using it twice a day for a month and see the results. I did speak with several others with fibro who love it and are doing much better.
I don't think it alone is a cure but retraining the nervous system is what we need and this is one we can use in our homes and it is credible.
