I get neck pain every day. But lately, my neck aches like crazy every morning, almost a medium flare up of pain. And, my side trapezius muscles, inside line along shoulders, hurts like the dickens every night. Headaches as well from the back going up to the top of forehead.
I have been overwhelmed the last month, lots of stressors equal lots of triggers equals more pain; for me. What helps my pain not to go into full flare up is doing little things every day that help in decreasing my stress. I color in adult designed coloring books. The designs are intensive and you really have to stop thinking to follow the spaces with your colored pencil correctly. I walk my dog and play "throw the apple" with him. I have a little apple tree growing outside my apartment and they fall off. He loves to chase them through the courtyard and then brings them in and eats them! LOL. I break up my tasks through the day. I always allow myself two hours to get moving in the morning.
Next week, I am going to begin getting the swimming pool again. Exercise and using as "my time" should help relieve the pain after several weeks.
