denied disability 2nd time

I am new to this forum but I am looking for answers possibly something to help me understand the way the government works. I have worked since I was 12 and am now 44. At age 21 i was hit with cancer, then again at 24 and I survived. I have been in 3 car accidents causing spine adjustment issues and neck injury. I have had over 20 surgeries since the birth of my 1st child correcting medical issues one at a time. I currently suffer from Chronic pain syndrome, Insipidus Diabetes and short term memory loss (from a brain tumor in 08). I have an interstem pacemaker for interstitial cystitis (bladder hates me too). Hysterectomy due to the cancer. I ended up with a subtotal colectomy in 2002 leaving me with gastroparesis and ibs. Migraines are an everyday occurrence along with asthma and then I broke my toe from a fall in 2014. The fall broke my two in half and since I tried to brace myself from the fall it caused carpal tunnel and a torn rotator cuff all on the right side. I am home recovering from the 2nd surgery to repair the toe with a permanent staple and pin to hold the bone together. Rotator cuff surgery is scheduled for later this year. With all I have been through and continue to go through I was denied not once but twice for disability. I am confused as to why.
I can no longer lift above my head or even over 15-20 lbs. I cant walk long distance or short. I cannot kneel, bend or stoop, lift carry or travel and yet they believe their is work I am able to do. Can someone explain to me what employer would hire a person who can not do simple tasks? Simply trying to remember which day of the week I paid the bills is difficult enough but I don't understand how I am not qualified for disability. Can someone/anyone tell me what it takes to have a claim approved. thank you

Thanks. I just find it hard to understand why a person with 3/4 of the issues needed to qualify does not. I know a few people personally who received disability due to one issue alone and didn't even have to fight for it. Those people also only worked a Few years off and on enough to qualify. It makes no sense to me. I've worked paid my taxes all these years and when I need help in return all I get is sorry can't help you.
I've been online since my denial letter looking for work and no one wants to hire a person who has to stand And sit 1/8 of the time at work then stretch and repeat. It's frustrating to do it at home.

I figured since their was more than one medical concern a lawyer would be my best course of action. I'm just not sure if the disability lawyer I have has done all they can do. Every appt, every procedure every new prescription was sent immediately. I realize they make their money on the end of the case and therefore the better the case you have you should have a Stroger case. I'm not sure what else I need to do to prove I can no longer do the work I did in the past? I worked in a school with children of all ages. I Seriously doubt I would be able to walk, stand or bend the way they need me to any longer.

My husband said we have only begun to fight. I guess we will be looking at what the lawyer has and has not actual done and then proceed.everyone has given such helpful advice thanks a lot.i did it realize kind people were still around who were willing to help out another person without a price tag attached. 😊😊😊

Well the lawyer got back to me and now it's an apt with ALJ? Apparently a video conferencing. Since my first note I now have a permanent pin and staple in my right big toe and at this time can't walk more than 1/4 mile cant balance or stand for long without the burning sensation in my foot up to my calf. October I'm scheduled for rotator cuff surgery which will have me out of work another 6 or more months. I just got over an infection from the last surgery and Spent 7 days recovering from a simple infection. Cancer plus a brain tumor robbed me of that availability years ago.i have fought through 20 major surgeries each one becoming more complicated with more health risks. I have no choice because the body is simply shutting down slowly. I was also diagnosed with degenerative osteoarthritis Another hurdle. Their are days i am up sick from 1-3am and just can't get up after. I simply don't get it. Honestly it seems as though the more problems I acquire the more I am Pushed back in disbelief that anyone could have so many things wrong with them at once.
A year ago I fell over one step so hard I broke my toe in half. It clung together by one piece of muscle. After two surgeries I can no longer have 100 use of it and have to before diligent than ever when walking.
But with every day I smile get dressed do what I need to do in order to get through a day. If maybe I would win the lottery stress would the a factor as then I would have money.

So I just need to return the paperwork to my lawyer and the alj as requested I assume. I always thought once denied that's it go look for work. So after the 1st denial I started looking for work I could do which I disnt get any takers. People want employees who can walk, stand, lift, bend and most importantly remember what happened at the last meeting. I have been looking for work since the first denial letter just in case I lose. But the good vs the bad I brig as an employee make seeking full or part time work almost impossible. Good luck finding any legitimate work from home jobs they are all scams I have realized.
I am trying to do the right thing and have a back up plan but right now it's not looking good either way. My dr informed me the nerve pain and damage I have suffered
For over 10 years from the surgeries is fibromyalgia. What the heck in plain English is that? Too many descriptions online to really get a grasp on the condition.
