Lostpuppy, I understand too. It can be so hard to lose weight and it's doubly hard when people get on you about
it.
What helped me lose weight was changing my diet, no more unhealthy carbs for me or processed or junk food. I have to also keep as active as possible without overdoing.
I took it a step further and followed what the nutritionist and author JJ Virgin recommended to help one's arthritis and to lose weight. She recommends that you eliminate 7 foods from your diet for 3 weeks and you can lose a few pounds and see how you feel. This worked for me. Staying away from those 7 foods helped me to lose 20 pounds in about
4 months.
When it comes to those people who are getting on you--turn it around by getting on them (silently) by showing them how much you know and how successful you can try to become in a healthy way.
We all care.
Good luck to you.
