Hello everyone
my partner has bad fibromyalgia and migraines.
We have tried living in a various places like oregon, washington, missouri, ohio but none of them were good for him when winter came.
His fibromyalgia seems to have issues pressure changes, humidity, temperature changes.
This has had me searching around for which states would be best for his health but I've not found too much information so I thought I'd ask the members of this forum about
their experiences with various states

High, Raven, and welcome! Yes, barometric pressure changes that comes with weather fronts can cause more pain. So can cold and rain. Unfortunately you get this everywhere you go. I did live in northern Ohio for years and had more pain than I now have living in Florida. The warmth and the overall sunny weather makes me feel better. And I can walk daily here which also helps fibro. We do have a rainy season...summer...but I'm still better than when I lived in Ohio.
Arizona might be good too because they have a dry heat.
Have your partner read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There is a lot of good info in that thread that could help your partner. Better yet, have them come to this forum and ask questions. We are here to help others.

Hi raven,
Most of us have many issues with barometric changes...
I am especially sensitive to this ...the times we have been to dry climates on vacations.. I had a fair amount less pain...
Its just not always easy to pick up and move...
I have to use a little more meds when i am going through some of this.
Does he have a good doctor.

I have homes in Oregon and Arizona and the pain is no different - the Arizona sun is more mentally uplifting until it get to 120degrees
