Help me with treatment methods for fibromyalgia

Hi to all.. My mom has been suffering from fibromyalgia for the last 3 months. We have consulted many doctors, but there is no improvement in her condition. She has a heavy muscle and joint pains. Recently I found a product named Esonix on the site www.sparkinnovations.com/project/ensonix/. They have written there it can provide pain relief and muscle stimulation for people with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal. Is it true? Does it can help my mom in her pain? Please provide me with some treatment details for fibromyalgia. Please reply me as soon as possible.

Could not find information on that product.you did not say what they have tried to help your mom.

Its a difficult process to learn what is helpful, as we all respond differently .

Have they had her try physical therapy or myofacial release?

Thanks for the replies. They have done physical therapy. She exhibits some pain relief for about 1 week after physical therapy. But again severe pain is occuring.

Hi, Carol, and welcome! What works for one with fibro doesn't necessarily work for another with this illness. It's a trial and error type thing.

I use ibuprofen with food, Tylenol, magnesium malate, vitamin D3, and a muscle relaxer called Robaxin to keep my pain under control. I have not been pain free in decades but yet have lived a full and enjoyable life in spite of this illness.

I also walk daily as a gentle form of exercise and I pace myself when doing things. I use trigger point therapy on myself also. If you sit or lay too much you will be stiff as a board and have more pain so make sure your Mom stays as active as possible. Many fall into the trap thinking if they hurt they should just rest.

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There is a lot of info there that can help you. Also read back posts. There is just so much information on this forum.

I just posted Cause and Cure on this forum. Please go to Peter Waite's blog and read about how I found the cause and am curing myself with my primary physician's help and the protocol of Dr. Garth Nicolson and Rick Harrison, modified slightly with L-Lysine and Therapeutic doses of raw garlic. The Doxycycline/any Cycline tolerated, and NT Lipid Replacement therapy are essential, and for me so has the garlic and L-lysine and other cell support vitamins. All my best to your mother.

I think the fibro had something to do with food additives as well as water pollutants.
I switched to organic and non GMO foods. Much reduced symptoms. Reverse osmosis water almost cleared up the remaining symptoms except for fatigue which might have to do with allergies.
No longer on Medications for it.
