Fibro & seizure disorder

I had never had a seizure prior to having fibro. Since being diagnosed with fibro (4 years ago), I've had 3-one 3 years ago after sleeping in a newly painted house & 2 today, after falling & hitting my head. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can fibro make one prone to seizures after experiencing some physical trauma?

And, I had CT scans both times, & they were normal. I've been referred for a neurological work-up.

As a child I had seizures every night after I fell asleep for awhile. I just went back to sleep usually. My parents didn't know I was having them. I tried to explain my 'shaking' all over but I think they thought I was dreaming.

One night I was able to get up when one had just started and my sister saw what was happening. She called my parents and they saw it too.

After many tests the doctor said it was caused by very low blood sugar. I had to eat a snack at bedtime every night after that and had no more problems.

Several years ago I had a seizure after MOHs surgery on my face. I think it was the epi/lidocaine shots I got. But of course the doctor said no.

I hope you find out what the cause is for you and of course a solution.

Hi there! I am a 48 y/o woman with fibromyalgia and began having seizures for no known reason. All tests were negative. On neurontin now and gave not had a seizure in almost one year.
