I am new here, looking for friends to talk to! (Short story of my life with Fibro)

Hello to all! I posted in one of the Fibro topics that i am very lonely. Here i made a copy of what i said yesterday.
"I found myself in so much isolation that it's hard to believe and i am sooo glad i found this forum just a few days ago. I had a feeling i will find not only new info but possibly new friends here, give me some time to look around! At this point i look like a professional complainer lol In fact i like to joke and adore ppl with a good sense of humor! Let me explain why i said that i am so very lonely...
I was born in Ukraine, came to US when i was already 33, finished Ultrasound Diagnostic School in Manhatten, was working as a sonogram tech in NY and had only 7 "normal" years in America before i got Fibro and it became harder and harder to keep working. When i moved to live in Los Angeles where my son was - i had to go on disability. Obviously i have no friends here because i never grew up, study, work or socializing at that point in LA. My son has his own life with a wife and 2 daughters (LOVE them)! They live about 50 min from me, but i don't drive anymore and my son is too busy for letting me in his life.
I was trying to make my long story short.. Will be glad to make friends here on forum!! Will share our stories, knowledge, any medical info or whatever else. I love medicine, just don't like to be a patient hehe If you find any mistakes in my typing, pls forgive me b/c English is is not my native language.

Oh great! I listen to you and put down my FB URL! lol Actually i have many friends there (on Facebook) because i play 2 games. My friend's list is secure and i never share anything "public". And btw i responded to your message. Thanks for posting and get better

Hi Natik. So sorry to hear you feel so isolated. I feel the same way sometimes. I have two boys that had to move away for their jobs. I have one grandbaby and one on the way. I love them all so much but I have to keep my mind busy. Not my body because of the continues pain. I'm not sure how to find your e-mail address on this blog. I'm a newbe here. Maybe we could chit chat sometime.
