blush hello everyone. I'm new here. This is my first post. I'm wondering if any of you suffer from being super hot like as though having hot flashes then be super cold.. This is making thing difficult. As I wake up in the night soaking wet from these hot flashes then I get dry and I'm freezing. Just no happy medium. Please let me know I'm not alone with this.

Hi, Mountain-Gal, and welcome! Yes, this happens to me too. Sometimes when I go back to bed I have to put two blankets on the bed (even though my home is at 75 degrees) just to warm up. My skin is actually cold after what seems to be night sweats.

Some nights I spend putting covers on, taking them off, putting them on again, etc. That doesn't make for a good night's sleep. So, no, you are not alone with this.

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there.

Hi . I would like to that both of you for your help. Sherri thanks for fixing my message for me. And thew info you both gave.me I'm going to put to use . As like you rock on I have lots of ice packs. We use them for camping and picnicking but otherwise they sit in the freezer doing nothing. Well now I'm going to put them to work helping me. As I'm so fed up with like you both said being asleep and then wake from it. And then neing so tired I the morning from fighting with these sweats.. I didn't know if it was a fibro thing on not. But it sure seems like it.
