Hi, I have TN. But have pain on my legs and feet. They ache. Starting to think I have fibromala. Just need a answer on this. Is this what I think it is? Or maybe my old age.lol. My appointment for my nerologist is July 31. Meow3

Hello meow,

I don't have fibro but I do have Lupus and they carry identical symptoms...when are your legs and feet mainly hurting you because a number of issues can cause this.

Hi, Meow, and welcome! People with fibromyalgia have pain in all four quadrants of the body. We usually have cognitive memory problems too. Since the pain is in your legs and feet only, you might have some back issues going on. I have a back problem, along with fibro, and had terrible,pain in my legs. I also have sacroiliitis that added to leg pain. The pain is gone now thanks to the help of my rheumatologist.

I had bad foot pain from plantar fasciitis and fixed that by wearing Birkenstock sandals. That's all I wear now. They have regular shoes too.

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. A good starting link for you would be A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. This will give you a better idea if you are dealing with fibro.

Thank you for the information on the fibro. I'm not real old but have constant pain in feet and on legs. Don't think this is associated with TN. Could be Arthritis. Go to Nerologist the 31 of July for TN. I never had pain in my legs and feet before. So I was trying to figure this out. Hopefully the doctor will know. Thanks again. Meow3
