Sherrine, I think it may have been you who first brought up the topic of pickles and olives and pain relief. Since I love both of those foods, I was really happy to hear that!
I think you said you rinsed off these foods (for less sodium) before eating them. I'm only posting now because I recently found a brand of green olives (Early California) which has reduced sodium! Yayyy! They taste good, too, and have just enough salt, IMO. They were right next to the "regular" Early California green olives on the store shelf, so I had to look twice at the label.
Thought I would pass that little bit of info along. I only found these olives because I tried a different grocery store, just for a change. It paid off.
Found a few other goodies, too, of course. LOL.
