Fibro and Epilepsy

Does anyone else here have fibro and epilepsy? If so, would you mind sharing some information with me? I had seven seizures back to back last night, more than I have ever had before. I had been on the computer for about two hours and my fibro was also flaring in my left shoulder and my back. Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience. I am not going to be on the computer much until I talk to my neurologist.

Carla, are you on Lyrica? They use Lyrica for both fibromyalgia and epilepsy...at least that's what I have read. Maybe this will help you. There could be some correlation to the two illnesses.

I don't have epilepsy but I'm being tested with a 24 hour harness EEG for brainwave irritations that could mean an underlying seizure disorder. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

Hello Carla,

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I haven't been on the computer for a couple of days. I also have fibro and epilepsy. I have a type called absence seizures or mini mals. It is almost impossible to know when I have had a seizure, so I can't tell you how many I have in a day. On occassion I do realize I've had one, but not too often. As you can imagine I no longer drive because of this.
