I have been on vacation and not around this week. I had a lot of fun playing in the waves on Cape Cod! Unfortunately my 2 children got ear infections. I am home now with 2 of them and the other 2 are coming home tomorrow.
Anyway.. I weaned myself off of the Zoloft (only took 12.5 mg.) because it was giving me chest pains and a "wired" feeling. I also didn't like the way it made my brain feel. It gave me this 'flat' feeling cognitively. I really liked the energy boost it gave me but because of the side effects I had to stop taking it.
The 1st thing I noticed was the fatigue and brain fog returning. The next thing I noticed was the aching in my neck, legs, hips and hand. Of course I have not been hiking so that could have something to do with it. I have not felt depressed or anything.
I was wondering; How could an ad drug take away aches? How does that work?
Also, the fatigue is tough with 4 kids. I am finding that I lose my patience more easily. Now I am going to my primary for a follow up on taking the zoloft. I will be telling him that I dc'd it. I know you can't just request the drugs of your choice but I was wondering if anyone had any success with some of the others? Like Adderal? or Provigil? I would much rather add a drug than us the re-uptake inhibitor ones.
Thanks,
Carolyn
