Good luck with the sleepovers this weekend!  Did you remember to restock your earplug supply?

I am so thankful that my boys will be breaking me into the teenage years before I have to deal with it with the girls.  And a gaggle of 10 y/o girls, I can't imagine! lol.  Loud as the boys can be, at least they don't shriek.  Have fun smilewinkgrin

So far everything is good.  The girls are outside playing hide and seek in the dark.  I guess playing hide and seek as a teen is cool as long as there are no little ones involved.  I hope they don't run into any skunks, we have a few in the neighborhood.  That would make the party interesting shocked .

I think I will be ok tonight but tomorrow the ear plugs will be coming out.  I will let you know how that goes. 

I hope your boys had fun, are they ready for school?  My girls are a little anxious, mostly the oldest, this will be her first year of high school (boy that makes me feel old).  Ok, it sounds like cake time, I wonder if it's ok to sing happy birthday or will that embarrass them.  I guess I will find out.

I made it but only because of my darling daughter.  Saturday came and I was tired and had a headache.  I cleaned my house from the sleepover on Friday and set up for the 10 year olds.  The little girl with all the energy didn't disappoint me.  She was loud and roudy.  My sweet 15 year old could see that I was having a hard time and took the kids to the park :-)   for an hour.  She then played flashlight tag with them outside and entertained them for the rest of the evening, which included staying up all night with them (even though she was tired from her sleepover).  I am so impressed with her right now.  I didn't have to ask her for anything, she justed stepped in and took over,wow! I let her know how proud of her I am and how much I appreciated her help.

I'm not having any sleepovers for awhile, a long while. I'm hurting a lot right now but my heart is happy.

Sounds liek both were a success!! Your oldest dd is so wonderful! What a caring young adult she is turning out to be. You must have raised her well, Mom :) I bet that would have tired you out though, I can't imagine such a large group of kids. I'm glad where I live, it's such a small community, I don't think they even know that many kids their own age, lol. It does make you feel good to see your kids happy though, I'm so glad you enjoyed it too.
