strange disc shaped rash on my ankles

So I'm am curious, about 3 years ago I went to the dermatologist because I got an itchy burning disk shaped rash on my ankles (they were completely the same on each ankle and showed up at the exact same time). A biopsy was done and I was told I had an auto immune reaction, but the other tests came back inconclusively. I was told it could be lupus or Fibromyalgia, but I would have to come back when I had another flare up. I found that diagnosis so frightening that I actually never retried it. I have pains, but I have always chalked them up to sport and other injury.
I am now 4 1/2 months pregnant, and some strange things have happened including that rash has shown up 3 times now, but another thing is that my wrists and hands go numb, I have a weird ligament pull in my upper thigh that makes it feel strangely numb. and often tingling in my feet. Obviously I need to speak about this with my doctor, but I just wanted to know if any one of you can relate to any of these kinds of symptoms. When I read about the symptoms of either Fibromyalgia or Lupus they are so amorphous that I have a hard time saying I have them or not. Your input would be greatly appreciated. All the best.

Getting by gave a really good suggestion on the fibro 101. There is a ton of information on there. I know that a lot of us get things like tingling and or numbness. One of my own personal things that I get is that I have numbness in the left hand where the ulnar nerve provides sensation. No doc or specialist has been able to explain to me why it stopped working as it should. At one point I chalked it up to an injury that I had (bad puncture on the outside of the forearm) but everyone that I've ever seen has said that there's no visible link between the injury and my loss of/over sensitive feelings in the left pinky and outside of the ring finger.

There are many strange things that happen to us and with us. I would suggest pulling the kitchen sink list on the fibro 101 and finding a good doctor. Fibro is not something that is diagnosed in the usual ways that other things are. Unfortunately there's no specific test to tell definitively that it's what it is. It's something that's usually diagnosed by process of elimination. Once all the other autoimmune issues are put to bed you're then usually left with a diagnosis of fibro.

In the meantime feel free to spend time here learning and talking. Even if it turns out that you don't have a fibro diagnosis, we won't kick you out. People here are great and there's a lot of information to be gleaned on things other than fibro as well. And if nothing else, you just found some more people that are willing to listen, and that's rarely a bad thing. So....welcome, and hopefully you can get some answers somewhere.
