Went to my rhummy appt. This is what he said. He did the pressure points test had all but 2. Looked at all the symptoms list I took him and he said that because I am exhausted all the time along with the other symptoms and the trigger points he is 99.9% sure that it is Fibro. He did take blood but he said he feels it will all be negative for lyme, lupus, etc.
He was very nice and understanding...I am so glad of that.
He asked me to participate in a study that Eli Whitney (sp) is doing on fibro. It will be a series of 4 phone consultations over a period of a year. I told him yes I would do it. Anything that will help people better understand this ya know?
He put me on Lyrica. I am sposed to start it tonight and then in a week I think he said start taking it twice a day. He also wants me to take cymbalta. But does not want me to start it for 2 weeks in case there are side effects he will know which one it is causing it.
I am so happy to finally have a diagnosis. I guess I am fortunate though because I have read here that others have waited a really long time to have dianoses. I just feel better knowing what is wrong. I also feel alot better about posting here now. I felt like I didn't have a right because I was not yet diagnosed. 
Now I guess I just need to figure out my limitations...what I can and can't do now.
