 Hello All

It's been awhile since I wrote it's been a long summer trying to deal with different pains and flair up new meds and stress issues, I do Have a new symptom Im not sure is related to my fibromyagia is my Feet Burn and itch , not all the time it happens, but when it does happen it so fustrating and stressful when it happens. Does anyone else have this and is it related to fibromyalgia.

My feet burn and sometimes itch too. I was just writing about that on a different thread. I think it does have to do with the fibromyalgia. But it could be from the nerves in the feet. But yes, I do get that too. So you aren't alone. This just started about a month or so ago for me, wondering if it could have something to do with diabetes, that runs in my family. But I have a sneaking suspicion that it is fibro.

The pain from my fibro hits me mostly in my feet and legs. The Lyrica is helping me somewhat. I have pain mostly, but sometimes I have a warmth feeling go into my right foot. That is not exactly burning, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Yes, I do have some burning occasionally in my feet.  I'll also get cold or a wet feeling in my legs and hips.  Burning sensations is one of the symptoms of fibro.  Go back to the Fibro 101 thread and click on the link that lists the symptoms.  I printed it out so, when I get some new, delightful problem, I check it out there first.  Fibro definitely isn't fun, but we'll make it through with a smile.  wink

Hi Lady and welcome to the forum!!

 

The burning pain in my feet is my biggest problem.  I have had nerve tests done on my feet and it only showed minimal nerve damage so yea i chalk it up to Fibro as well.  Mine itch too.  I have tried so many things to gt it to quit.  I have tried cool washcloths (temp fix), lotion on my feet (temp fix) and my newest one I'm gonna try to to get a pair of the diabetic crocs smilewinkgrin    I feel that the holes in there will help keep my feet cool at work. .The Lyrica has helped alot with the burning in my feet.  Hopefully it keeps it up.

Somehow I sense this isn't the same thing as what you are talking about, but the only time I remember a burning pain in my feet was after walking around a lot more than I normally do. When I finally sat down to rest, my feet felt like they were burning in the way they do when they are thawing out after being really cold.

I also get the burning feet, the soles of my feet burn, but I get burning down the sides of my legs also. My feet itch on the top but when I go to bed and stretch out it feels like the skin cracks open on my heels. I use to turn the light on to check to see if they are bleeding but do not bother any more.

My feet starting burning after a major flare in June. They seem to have gotten better since the temp has changed. The doc told me it is neuropathy. The bottoms of my feet feel weird now like they don't have the feeling in them they should. The bottoms don't itch but I get some itching on the tops.
