is this pain fibro????????

Hi Everyone,  I am relatively new to this forum and just cancelled an appointment with my PCP so that I could talk to someone(s) who will not look at me like I'm NUTS!  So here is the deal----a few days ago (I think out of nowhere) I woke up with pains in the back of my legs around the backs of my knees and thighs.  It has moved every day but it's generally the same.  It feels like burning,or pinching or just really sore.  It makes it hard to walk---kind of a stiff feeling.  Does this make sense to anyone???  It's not the first time I've had this kind of pain in the back of my legs--- and some times on my inner thigh.  Sometimes is a tingly (wake up from sleeping) kind os pain----but this was different.. It Just felt like someone was squeezing my muscle or something.  Pain is so hard to describe!!!!!  I am hoping that someone can identify 'cause if it's not fibro ---THEN WHAT THE HECK IS IT!  My cardio doc wants me to take a statin drug for high cholestorol---but with this kind of muscle stuff going on I get really scared.  Ok I'm soing to take a breath and push submit

Hmmmmmmm,  thanks for the input---I never thought of any of those things.  I will get an appt. soon and check it out.
