Hi all,      I've been in the hospital with my husband since the 3rd of November. It's so good to be home! Things are bad and may get worse. The last lab test shows some type of cancer has come back in his body. We will call Dr. Monday for more test results.      I miss my friends on Healing Well. I don't know what else to say.

I am new to posting on the site, but have read posts for many months and all of you have given me comfort in the knowledge of not being alone. I will keep you and your husbands in my prayers and please keep us posted. I know it is hard to do, but try and take care of yourself ok? Gentle Hugs friend,

Chuzzle, I was just thinking about you yesterday and was wondering where you were.  I'm so sorry you are dealing with this again.  If this does turn out to be another cancer, hopefully they will get it all.  You are at the top of my prayer list and I pray for healing for your husband and strength for you.  Please let us know what is happening.  We really do care and we miss you too.

Chuzzle, I'm hoping things will get better for you.  I know your going through some bad times, but with God's help you will make it.

I am soooo sorry for all you have been going through this year. sad

I will be praying for you and hubby, and hope that although we are a miles and miles apart, in spirit we are all very close.

Keep us posted when you can..but just know you are not alone, we will all be keeping you and hubby in our prayers and hope to hear something positive.

I'm so sorry you and your hubby are going through this.  I know from personal experience how exhausting it can be to live at the hospital with a loved one.  Please try to take care of yourself too.

Oh Chuzzle, I was thinking the other day about asking you how your daughter is doing. Now your DH too. I'm so sorry. I know this is taking a toll on you. Please try to get some rest. God will handle things while you take care of yourself.

Chuzzle, wonderful to hear from you and you have so many people praying for you, your husband and your entire family. The power of prayer is awesome and you have lots of power to tap into. Godspeed for the health of your husband and your health as well.

     My daughter has had two chemo treatments so far. Six more to go. She is a very determined to fight and I believe she is going to be alright when the treatments are over. She shaved her head because she couldn't stand the hair falling everywhere. My grand daughter says she looks like a punk rocker.      It is such a blessing to know you are praying for us. Thank you

Hi Chuzzle-

My girlfriend asked if I would go to a benefit for one of her daughters classmates that has brain cancer. (9th graders) They had what was called a "buzz off" at a certain time during the benefit where everyone would donate money and get their head shaved to match his head (lost all his hair from the chemo). I have never seen so many shaved heads and how moved I was that all his friends showed such support by doing that! 

I am happy to hear your daughter is determined to fight this. And that you both remain in our thoughts and prayers. Any other news about hubby?

     Hi All,      We are still waiting for word from Ron's surgeon as to the further results of tests and a referral for an oncologist. Believe with us that connections will be made with the very best Dr. I don't know what the hold up is. I called the surgeon's office yesterday and today but they have no word for me yet.      Thanks so much for all your prayers.....we really can feel them. God is good.

We finally got a call from the surgeon's office with a refferal for next Thursday with the oncologist. Of course she wouldn't tell me anything on the phone. We will know next week what we are dealing with. Blessings for all of you that are helping us walk through this by your prayers. There is a secret place of rest in the midst of this storm.

Hi My Wonderful Friends,       Checking in with news from the oncologist. He believes my husband has an inoperable tumor. We are supposed to start chemo Dec 11 with the same doctor that is giving our daughter chemo. He is young and very pleasant.       The Dr believes he can shrink the tumor with treatment. He says there is not much hope or time if we don't.       We are holding up well and there are a great many people praying for us and offering to help in practical ways. My friend and her husband have volunteered to help me drive my DH to treatment. The chemo will take 5 hours and he will have to wear a pump home.       I am walking, sleeping and caring for my husband on the many prayers of my friends. I will say again....I can feel strength from your prayers.       God Bless you all!
