After you've been diagnosed with fibro, how do you know when you should go to the doctor when you feel pain? Maybe I am not explaining this right. How do you differentiate between fibro pain and something else going on in your body? Do you eventually just learn to tell the difference? For the past 2 weeks I was having some really bad back pain, pelvic pain and hip pain. I was convinced that I had either a pelvic infection, kidney infection or UTI. I first went to my gyno, who found no trace of UTI and said to come back the next week if I felt no better. Well it got worse, so back I went. I got a full pelvic exam, another urine test, etc. Nothing wrong. The pain still didn't go away so I was contemplating calling my GP. Then one night I went to bed, woke up the next morning, and that specific pain was gone! Now I feel silly for making such a big deal out of it and going to the doctor repeatedly. Will I learn what is and isn't "normal" with this diagnosis?
