Hi, I am new here. Have had Fibro diagnosed for 16 yr., but think I've had it since childhood. Now 56. I am miserable! I'm not real computer literate, husbands, and I forgot my login info, took me 45 min. to get this far. Its been a great month so far. Anyone understand this? Thanks for being there if anyone is there. Lucy

Welcome Lucy,

So glad you found our forum. You will find many nice people here who love to help one another. We are a nascar family too! (my real family that is!)

Don't worry about being new on the computer. You will find that after using it a while that it gets easier & easier. Hope you stay around and meet everyone else. Feel free to jump right in if you have questions or something to say. It is better to start a "new topic" when you do or the others might not see it. (unless you are answering or adding to someone else's post already there, then you would use "post reply".)

 There is some great information in the 2nd thread from top "Fibro 101" if you would like to look it over. I learned alot of new interesting things and different ways to help my pain. Again, Welcome & hope to hear more from you!

Hiya Nascarwild!!!  Welcome!!!  This is a great place.. great people and tons of info.

You'll get the hang of the computer before ya know it!!  Just keep working on it and it will become a way of life.

Hi Lucy and Welcome-

I am 52 and did not start on computers until my 40's, so I understand! It just takes time. The more you get on and use the computer, the more you learn and the easier it gets. I am still learning-

16 years! I just got fibro late last winter. Nice to meet you and keep posting- you have found a great support group here!

so sorry i missed your post-sometimes things can get lost around here. we are all fibro-mites!! :D

very happy to have you aboard this crazy but loveable ship! please let us know if there is anything we can do-also, i agree with others who recommended checking out fibro 101-it really is a wealth of information!

oh, and i assume from your name that you're a big nascar fan? i live very close to the Michigan International Speedway and we have nascar stuff everywhere in this area!

I've been up your way a few times... really nice area!! One of my favorite B&B's is up that way.

you are close by then! we live in what they like to call the "michindo" area, as in michigan, indiana, ohio because all 3 states are so close by in this little corner of the universe. one of my daughter's good friends moved to angola last year, and it's only about an hour from here.

i've always wanted to go stand on the "corner" where the 3 states overlap and do one of those twister type moves-you know, one leg in michigan, one in ohio, one hand in indiana...lol. i guess i'm just weird like that :-)

Danielle... You're daughter's friend is right in my back yard then!!! LOL... I've always wanted to do the 3 state thing too!!! I just don't think I could contort my poor old fibro ridden body that way!! I guess we're both weird that way too!!
