I understand completely, 2t! Whenever I do something that I enjoy I am in agony the next day.
I had a great Xmas Eve, going up to the Pocono's to my cousin's house. My dad's whole side of the fam was there! It was fun, good food, lots of laughing, and LOTS of walking around!! They have a lot of freaking steps in their house, let me tell you!!!! I should've just cooled out on the couch there and let people come to ME lol.. cause the next day I felt like a train hit me (well ok, not THAT bad ) But my heels were KILLING ME when I walked around my apartment and my eyes are soo sore because in their house their lights seem very very bright. My head throbbed once I got home and into Christmas day. Next time I'll wear my sunglasses there lol And I tried explaining it to my husband's family when I went to visit them then on Xmas.. I just don't think they understood what I was feeling like.
Even when I go to the mall once in a while with my friends, I pay for it a few hours after I get home and the next day. Gimping has become second nature to me now because my legs get so pained and weak after trips to places.
And I think I do too tend to give it a life of its own.. I am fairly new to all of this still and am still learning and "grieving" in a way. I haven't gotten to the point yet where I've learned to control IT instead of letting it control ME. I hope I get there.......
Take care, 2t.
