LOL Sue! You GO girl!!!! yeah

For the record, I have sort of curly/sort of wavy hair that does NOT cooperate no matter what I do to it, and it drives my daughter crazy because it's just so not "cool" for her mom to have this big old floppy frizzy curly wavy mess of a mop on her head (I think it also scares her because my hair has gotten more out of control the older I get, and I think she fears having the same thing happen to her lol) So one time I broke down and let her use the flat iron on me, and I didn't look so much like a drowned puppy as I did a puppy that had stuck all four of it's paws in a light socket! Oh man, it was such an ugly fried mess! Even worse than my hair normally is! On the good side, though, she hasn't bothered me about straightening my hair since! smilewinkgrin

What I pictured was a paint roller, with a handle.

My Momma always said to wrap your hair in rag curls and even if you fibro hurts, you sure looked purty !

LOL!! Ok I'm going to actually respond to the initial question here...

I have a foam roller, and with regular use it does help... BUT, you have to get used to how to position yourself and need some upper body strength to hold yourself up when using it on your legs because the pressure can really hurt in those sensitive areas. I was using it for my IT band down the side of my hip and leg, and honestly when I first started using it it hurt so much I felt mildly nauseous! Now I can put a bit more pressure and it still hurts but not like it first did. But any new area I use it on does take some time to work in, and frankly b/c of the effort to hold myself up to try to control the pressure, I need to have some energy to feel motivated to do it, and since I'm tired a lot, well, I don't use it a lot. I know I should though, it would help in the long run to iron out the kinks and help loosen the pull on the joints.
