First day on meds

And I know some of them take a while to work, but actually felt much better today. After work I was able to take Gavin (my son) to see his great-grandma. That is something I haven't been able to do much because it is so much work getting him in and out of the car, and since she is in a nursing home, it's a really long walk back to her unit. Normally, by the time we leave there, I can hardly walk anymore. The only problem is that the meds seem to make me a little "high", I guess. Thoughts are racing, and I feel a little speedy and tired at the same time. This happens anytime I try new meds, so I'm hoping it will go away after a few days. I hope everybody else is having a good day too!

Hey Ms Sugar, and welcome. I am thrilled to hear that today you felt better. Never discount the power of a positive attitude, a new helpful doc, and the right meds :) Enjoy these days as they come, in my experience these type of days help me when I have a not so hot day, because I know that the icky day will only last, at most, 24 hours, and then I have a shot at another good day. Hang in there and always remember we are here if you need anything. Peace!

Sugar, I'm glad to hear that you had a good day! We sure relish them when we have them, don't we. Others take good health for granted but fibromites sure don't!

I hope the "high" feeling will go away and that the meds continue to help you. This is good news and we are always happy to get some of that!

I think it's really sweet that your brought Gavin to see Gram-ma.
It great that you had a good day and you're on your new meds. I hope you have more good days than bad. And I hope these meds are just what you need to feel better.

Hi Sugar,

It sounds like you are getting a little extra benefit with your meds. Enjoy it. LIke Sherrine says, it will level off.

I am happy that you are having a good day. You deserve it. And I hope that it continues. Over and over.

Keep posting and let us know how you are doing. It is wonderful to get good reports.
