wow i have to tell this. today my boyfriend surprised me with a nice drive to the great salt lake. we stopped at a few places and was able to walk along the shore line.
my fav spot was wonderful a cant put it into words what i was seeing and how beautiful it all was. but i could not stop my self i screamed out in happiness and took off skipping in the shallow water.
i felt like a kid and he let out a laugh.
i could go on and on but what i wanted to let you know is that i was wishing that you all could be there holding hands with me and skipping pain free.

Oh what a wonderful day. That lake is a wonder to behold. I hope the mood keeps right on going for you. Loved seeing an UP post like this.

I've never been to the Great Salt Lake, I've always wanted to go.  I'm so glad I had the chance, to be there in your heart.

Thank you for the mental picture with such good feelings all tied up in a bow.  I am happy you had a good day today.  Keep this in a special place to take out & remember when things aren't going so well.  In our memories we can be someplace else in an instant & pain free for a few minutes again.  I call these "gems of days' because they have such a sparkle & shine about them.  Thank you for sharing yours.  Soft hugs, Denise

I have to ask - the Lake is so huge - what part were you at?  I always wanted to go out to Antelope Island.  I think there are still some buffalo there.

Where is Great Salt Lake? I have not heard of it, but sounds beautiful.

I love life's moments like that- can't put a price on them. :-)

Utah, GamJill. I'm so glad you had such a great day Griffin and how sweet of you to wish we could be there with you.  Denise is right, store that memory in the good day file so you will have it when you need it. I don't think I would know how to skip anymore it's been so long.

 

Though few and far between I do have days like that and they are a treasure.

I bet that was beautiful.  My sister lives in Salt Lake and the back drop of the mountains is so pretty.  Thanks for sharing.  scool

Thanks for sharing!  I can just picture you now. 

 

My Uncle and cousins live in Salt Lake City and we've seen so many beautiful pictures.  Maybe one day I'll get to come out for a visit.
