ok so i started to take this lyrica and i have gailed weight and it is not helping at all so my doctor told me to go ahead and stop taking it. i am having trouble losing the weight that i gained.

so are any of you taking anything to help with weight lose?

i was thinking of trying out alli, my rx said that it would be my best guest since of the meds i am taking. have any one tried it ir know any one who has?

i am wanting ti know if it has helped someone. i have a hard time with exercise i get out and walk my dogs at least once a day some times twice a day and i watch what i eat but i still canr seem to get rid of the extras pounds.

what are you guys doing with this issue of still trying to look good without over doing it???

 help me i have always had trouble with weight but have always been a busy girl and never had to really worry about this. i hate the way i look now and could use some advice

I don't know, never tried it, thought about it. Heard you could loose your bowels with it sometimes. Just heard that. I don't take lyrica because I don't want the weight gain. I worked too hard to loose it, and I would be devestated if I gained the weight back. Let me know what ya find out. I use Weight watchers, and I love it.

My doc put me on this food program when I went on the lyrica. I can list what it is if you would like. I actually am not minding and I am far less hungry on it.

One of my niece's friends used it and it does give you loose bowels. Why don't you join us on the weight loss thread and maybe we can inspire you. Personally, I would never take any of that stuff, I have enough problems with IBS.

My sister and niece tried Alli and both had anal leakage. This is way worse than loose stools because you leak and can't stop it.

I have been trying to lose some weight now for the past six weeks and have lost five pounds only. I was kinda disappointed but I am doing things slowly this time and so be it, if I only lose a few pounds here and there.

What I am doing is eating oatmeal or regular cereal like cheerios and raisin bran for breakfast, try to eat a salad for lunch and then a regular dinner with chicken and rice usually. I eat those oreo thin crisps 100 calorie packs for dessert and I am trying to ride my stationery bike for five minutes only every day. I am very much decompensated from the fibro. I cannot walk or stand for any length of time, so I am trying to build back a little stamina.

I will be caring for my infant granddaughter in two weeks, indefinitely during the day while her mother works. I have the almost five year old now every day. That will give me a little more exercise too

So, slowly but surely for this gal. And by the way, I take Lyrica twice a day. I went off of it a year ago, but went back on it. It really helps my pain.
