Grats and condolences.
It is a relief to understand an underlying condition. Lyme is a tough disease to treat if you've had it a long time. Any idea how long you've had the Lyme?
All's I know is I'm glad I don't have Fibro. Mine is the fatigue and cognitive stuff. I don't want to over-information you all at once on Lyme. You should see some improvement with treatment - tho it'll probably be slow if you have late stage disease. You can also expect of have periodic worsening of symptoms during treatment. These are Herxheimer reatcions (Herxes). Killing the bugs releases toxins and that's where the Herxes come from.
Be sure and post when you're ready for more info. There is also a pretty good Lyme forum. I don't have Fibro but the good folks on this forum let me hang out with them There are many similarities between Lyme and Fibro and really, all people with a chronic illness have much in common.
