Oh, Kelly, Yes I did notice you were away for a bit, so are a few others (hope they are doing alright!). I was thinking about you yesterday as a matter of fact, I guess your ears were burning - aside from the sunburn.
I have that Irish skin going on here, too. From a family of redheads, no less. I try very hard to remember sunscreen, but alas, my rememberer is broken. I had some horrific burns as a child, a teen, young adult, etc. One thing my mother use to do is blot my burn w/ a freshly brewed tea bag. The tanic acid is supposed to help. She was always making fresh Iced Tea, so we always had 'fresh' boiled bags to use on my body. Now I make sure I use Noxzema. My younger son burns On Purpose then says MOM, HELP! I have to slather the Noxzema on his back. It helps to moisturize burning, painful flesh. I hope something will help you. Pls be careful next time, I worry about the permanent damage to you. I'm sorry, that is just the Mom in me coming out.
My father's mother was called MIMI, and my children called their pat G'ma MIMI. I love that name, always makes me smile.
Babysitting, Bless your heart - you are a strong woman. My money is on you, hope it stays fun for you and the girls. Hope you have a great summer, KIT when you can.
God bless. Alice.
