Do any of you get pain inside your vaginas? Pretty blunt question! LOL.  I'm having a sharp/dull/throbbing kind of pain tonight.  It's awful.  I'm not having my period (had a hysterectomy 8 months ago).  But it feels kind of like menstrual type pain. Cervix area pain I guess? (I don't have a cervix either) Dang, it's just awful. just wondering if that is common?

wink Hi Ginny! I have more trouble with external 'issues' (check forum page 12, 4th thread, 'warning'.....) but I have on and off spasms of some sort internally as well. Just not too often. Maybe you should check with your doctor?? My hysterectomy was many years ago while you are only 8 months past yours. confused We females seem to have all kinds of lovely extra aches and pains........... shocked
Wish I had something definitive to offer you! Maybe another forum member will have better suggestions...... tongue

I've had an ablation done so I no longer actually produce any fluid, but I still have my uterus and ovaries. But I do sometimes get all the same really bad "cramping" feelings that I used to get even though my uterus isn't actually moving trying to slough off anything anymore. The extreme pain is what caused me to end up with the ablation in the first place.

Yikes!  Not so much pain as itching and burning...been tested...no yeast or bacteria.  I had a hysterectomy also, including ovaries.  Doc has me on Estrace cream.  For me, it's either vulvadynia or atrophic vagina which comes from lack estrogen.  Both are very common for fibromites. Except for you men, of course,  who probably get something else just as lovely.

Hey thanks gals.  The pain in my vag is gone this morning, but now it's in the bladder area.  I know that irritable bladder/irritable bowel type pain is common in Fibro.  DANG, I hate this so much.  I was doing so well too. 

I have a new family doctor. He's cute. Too cute, and too young. Talking about my vag pain with him is something I can't even contemplate! LOL!  I'd tell my rheumy, but she moved to a different province. I'm rheumy-less right now.  BAH.  I just hope the pain leaves for good and I don't have to tell Dr. McDreamy.

My 14 year old daughter complains of pain there! She was just diagnosed, it seems like every complaint she has is associated w/ FM!

I have this every so often, I just keep practicing my kegels, and they do help keep the pain from coming as often, and on a bonus side, hubby is very appreciative LOL And since the vagina is muscle, unfortunately it can be affected by FM, not every woman has it, but some do. I've had problems with that area since my first miscarriage at 16 and I've learned to never douch, as it pushes bacteria further into the tract and can cause infections, lotions can be used there, but only externally and soaps should be hypoallergenic and alcohol free as well as detergent used for panties, which are supposed to be plain cotton, I personally hate panties as they twist bind and just cause pain.
