Doc called today and asked how I was doing after botox injections. I told him I was about
to email and tell him I didn't want to do botox anymore. He asked why. I said my neck still hurt a lot and it felt really weak. he said he only put a little botox in my neck and that shouldn't happen. He asked if my neck was stilff and, if so, it wasn't the botox that caused the problem. so I turned my head from side to side and I could move without trouble, so I said no, my neck was not stiff. so he said, then the botox is working for you. (basically if my neck was stiff, then the botox didn't cause the pain and if my neck was not stiff, the the botox was working and did not cause the pain). I told him that it still hurts a lot and all he said was the pain should be gone by now. It is not. He said maybe it was something else and I should ask my pcp.
But the pain started right after the botox. I have done nothing else. I am so confused. I guess I will just ride out the pain and not do botox again. It doesn't seem worth it.
