Oh, Robin, I'm so sorry. I'm in one big flare all summer long! The heat and rains do it to me every year. I start to calm down around October and then I'm good in the winter, but I live in Florida. If I was up north, Owie!
Chiyo, we all have daily pain and, as Robin said, we become accustomed to the "regular" pain. But, when you have a flare, you will know it! You hurt more, are more fatigued because of the pain, etc. Flares can last as short as a day or as long as months...like I have in the summer. Weather plays a big part in my flares.
